I've been in love with him since I was in the Academy, basically.
Problem was, so was my best friend. It was stupid, but we fought over him for a long time. I kind of regret—
I definitely regret all that time we spent being rivals instead of friends, even if she got so much stronger because of it.
It didn't even really matter, since I don't think he wanted anything to do with either of us. I'm pretty sure he still doesn't.
Anyway, he betrayed our village when we were 12, and I don't know if there's any coming back from that.

It's a thing for military humans too, I get it. M'just used to reading it as a formality, I'm-- hell, I don't even need to say I've always been pretty civilian, huh.

'Least it won't all be up to you, though. I'll be getting the general stuff from them-- already had someone else get with me about doing training exercises together, that should help.
