[ If Athos knew any of Garrus' feelings on this conversation he would try to ease his fears. But unfortunately his own thoughts are in turmoil. He was home and then he was not. And d'Artagnan was not saved the CDC despite his offer. So they brought them both back for a reason. ]

I do not know how they managed it. Neither d'Artagnan nor I remembered anything at all.

I do not know. Probably not. I don't appreciate being a puppet to higher powers.
I don't like that they could just make you forget. It doesn't make any sense.
[How would they manage it? Why? It isn't like the Musketeers could go warn people about the CDC. Nobody from their world, from what Garrus understands, would buy aliens and other planets.]

Don't blame you for not appreciating being a puppet, either. Definitely not liking that. Have you asked Armada about it yet?
Athos said that he would help. I will continue to ask around. Would Erin be willing to show people so they don't accidentally turn a friend to a pincushion?

Even without cutting new wood, there should be enough wood for spears to be easy to make.
[ There's a smile, quick and clever and ultimately cruel for the second it's there. ]
The Abbey would like your people.
[ But he pushes on, he's happy enough to leave it be, it's not a thing he can explain without knowing how wretched he himself was, and he does his best, most days to do otherwise.
Better to focus on the things he can do, can be capable of, and he takes the change of topic easily, much better. ] Yes, certainly.
Gonna have to offer Erin something in return. She's not the do-things-for-free sort. But for snacks, credits, paper, she'll do it.

I'll cut wood if we need it cut. Michaelis thinks that might be getting him and me more targeted by the Neraki, but I've already started and they killed one of mine. I don't care about their trees.
[That almost wounds him to hear. Not that the Neraki were targeting them- he guessed that there was some obvious defensiveness over their land, probably rightful, going on. But he also knows how he would feel if one of his was killed. He knows what he's done when one of his was killed.]

I will take whatever can be used, then. I shall try to bring up the matter, soon.
