Injuries are trauma. Triggers a response for your body to fix it, yeah? But things like being nearsighted, or having some kind of defect-- it's different. Bodies don't have a response to fix an eye that's shaped a little wrong the same way they have one to scab over a wound or attack an infection.

[He shrugs slightly, adjusts his glasses to try to see around the damaged area a little better.]

We've got surgeries that can fix eyesight, in all fairness, I just- couldn't afford that.
