[ There's a delay before her next message, too. She realizes a couple of things very quickly: 1) Noh probably isn't as broken up about this as Garrus is. 2) Garrus is probably heartbroken. 3) She'll need to talk to Noh later. 4) She probably needs to warn Hibari. 5) .... oh, fuck.
Inevitably, somewhat against her will, she remembers that cold night. When Noh's frozen blood on her face and neck made her skin burn, when Garrus's voice had thrummed with something awful she couldn't really identify, when they'd carried a corpse, a burden, a grief, together. She'd known then that Noh-Varr meant something truly special to Garrus, even if she isn't sure when exactly they started dating.
But Garrus is a nice person, and a sentimental one, to boot. And she's seen him before in a state where he was trying to keep it together and obviously hurting. He does a decent job at a facade, but you can tell: his heart's in pieces.
And knowing that makes Vriska's heart hurt, too. ]

Man. I'm sorry to hear that, Garrus. Genuinely.

[ She's not good at comforting. But for Garrus, she'd try. ]
