[Sitting back down, she takes the knife out of its holster and starts to cut a piece out of one corner of the blanket, quiet for a moment. Her whole relationship with Garrus now feels like an engineering project she half finished, then came back to ages later to find it rearranged. Two years ago, she's not sure she'd have pictured him dating an alien - and being this affected by it being over.
