[He had his doubts shortly after signing on with the CDC. He'd done his best after Luke's departure to strive for his dream of a better world--had moved back to his homeland to remind himself of where he could do the most good, had pushed for replica rights--but the crew's mission threw everything out of focus. Macha hadn't helped matters. Neither had seeing Luke and the rest of his friends.

What was he to do when every inch of him was yelling at him to ditch the Neheda to find them? Even though he reminds himself about what it'd spell for Auldrant, this dangerous fear won't go away. Who was he supposed to help, here? His friends who weren't from his time, or his planet and those friends?

But Garrus is right. What matters is a decision that won't keep him up at night with regret.]
