Edward started as one of Garrus' gun students, learning how to handle a gun, and he didn't make the best impression at first when he fired before being instructed. Or when he drew Dagger's ire by making a stupid bet with the Instructor. But he started turning things around and thinking, and when two people wound up dead on the Neheda Edward volunteered to help Green out, impressing Garrus. He's reckless and loud, but he's got some smarts. If he can keep his head about him, he'll go far.
