You're right. From what she told me, it sounds like she's looking for more discipline. She's powerful, but fire is wild and destructive. It needs control.

I can help with that. We'll start thinking of ways to coordinate our attacks, like you said.

There's another kid-- Hibari, I'm assuming you've met him, too. Anyways, he's a fire user as well. I bet we could really do some damage if all of us trained together.
FROM: zuko@cdc.org
Yeah. I know. Ajna was tough, and the next planet's only going to be worse.
When we have more time, I'll ask about the incarnation thing. Didn't know you had a connection to Korra, but maybe I should have guessed.

Met a guy named Mako before. There are similarities.

No info on the next planet yet. Only knew about Selena two days before we got there, figure I'll get the same amount of warning for the next one or possibly less. CDC isn't big on briefings.
Last planet was a test run, but if new people come in all the time, it might always be a test. Can't really say how they'll do it. Maybe they'll stop adding people come the next mission.

Missed the fact that he used fire. Discipline would be good for him too. You've taught working with fire before, instead of just worked with it?
FROM: vakarian.garrus@cdc.org
And yeah. Ajna was the test run. The 'easy' one. We're gonna have a lot to deal with next planet, I'm sure.

His flames are purple, unlike anything I've seen before. But they are fire.
[ there's a small swelling of pride that comes with the next message ]

I have. I taught the Avatar how to firebend.
[ ahh wait he should clarify ]
FROM: zuko@cdc.org
Not Korra. Her previous incarnation.
[ it still feels strange to refer to him as such. ]
FROM: zuko@cdc.org
Have you gotten any information on what the next planet might be?

It's a long story, but I'll try to explain it as best I can when we have some free time.

Mako, huh? Never heard of him... I wonder if Korra knows him.
FROM: zuko@cdc.org
So... we're going to be dropped in the middle of a hostile planet like last time? Sounds like fun...

She does. He's come up before.
