Oh, um. It's just his last name. Westerns were big when he was around. I mean, he did tons of other stuff too, like Dirty Harry, but he was known for those kinds of movies.

It was real. So America pretty much started way at the top and then it moved outwards. The west was uncharted territory. No laws, no people, nothing.
