Really don't know what to do there, and we're all gonna regret that sooner or later. Amber had a good start. Think I made progress with the one I worked with. But there's gotta be a way to build on it.

I sympathize with them, but I'm not empathizing. We've lost a lot. Capable people, people who were novices, all of it. If everyone could hold their ground more, the number would be lower.

We're watching their backs. Don't mind doing that. Personally find it pretty fulfilling. But if they watch their own backs a little too, makes our job a billion times more likely to succeed.

yeah, well. sometimes people cant afford to watch their own backs but thats why we're around.

i guess its never been about making the job easier for me. i just wanna be sure im doing enough.
