Something small that could do that would be functional as long as we were avoiding close direct encounters, or they had no ready way to disarm it and show what we'd been hiding.
Point. Might be more effort than it's worth. So the best option might be cover-ups. Make it look like useless adornment with fabric, hide it out in the open.
